I am a visual artist sharing my love of art and story telling with art lovers, art collectors, art students and community of creative souls.
There is a part of me that loves a story and every painting I create has a story to share.
I like to share, be in community and be purposeful.
Writing is an opportunity for me to practise presence, vulnerability, discipline and connection with other like minded souls. My main goal is to connect with myself, show up authentically and share my experiences with you. I love to teach and hope by sharing my art experiences, travels and random thoughts about my life as an artist we can all learn and grow.
The thoughts that never disappear. That is what I pursue and paint… whatever inspires me to focus on it until the next shiny object pulls me in a different direction and I find myself on another path. Writing helps me to take the time to slow down, feel and respect where I am.
The painting above is called “First Flutter.” It was the first painting I did upon my return of seeing the Monarch butterflies in Cerro Pelon, Michoacan, MX. I am excited to share more about this journey with you here in the next blog.
